Warranty & Service Policy
What is the Warranty Process?
The manufacturer will conduct an inspection of the product to determine its eligibility for warranty coverage. If the product is found to be covered under warranty, the manufacturer will proceed with repair or replacement as necessary.
Warranty Terms & Conditions
- Products sold by Cygnus are covered by a limited warranty provided by the manufacturer or distributor for a specific period against manufacturing defects only.
- Cygnus facilitates the repair process by coordinating with authorized service centers. The warranty covers repairing or replacing defective parts but does not include full product replacement.
- The original invoice is required for verification of product details and validation of the warranty period.
- The standard warranty repair turnaround time is twenty-five (25) working days from the time the product is received until dispatch.
- If the product is repaired or replaced, the warranty remains valid for the unexpired period. The repair/replacement time and transit duration are not deducted from the original warranty period.
- The manufacturer or authorized service centers may retain replaced parts.
- The warranty does not cover free items or packaging accessories unless explicitly stated.
- Refer to individual product listings for warranty applicability.
- Repair or replacement under warranty does not extend or renew the warranty period. Warranty terms are determined by the product manufacturer.
When Does the Warranty Become Invalid?
The limited warranty becomes void under the following conditions:
- Damage caused by power surges, electrical fluctuations, or unauthorized accessories.
- Environmental damage due to moisture, extreme temperatures, or pest infestation.
- Product defects resulting from improper use, misuse, mishandling, or non-compliance with the product manual.
- Removal, alteration, or tampering with the original serial number/IMEI/identification labels.
- Accidental damage, liquid exposure, physical damage, negligence, or unauthorized repairs/modifications.
- Mismatched or altered model name and serial number.
- Malfunctions due to third-party software installations, custom settings, or antivirus programs.
Warranty Providers
- Warranty services are provided by authorized service centers and are not operated directly by Cygnus.
- Customers may escalate complaints or directly contact the warranty service provider for assistance.
Warranty Coverage Territory
- Warranty services apply only to products purchased within the United Arab Emirates (the “Territory”).
- Replacement and repaired products or parts will only be shipped to addresses within the Territory.
Unclaimed Warranty Products
If a customer refuses to accept a product after processing a warranty claim, the product will be stored in Cygnus’s warehouse for a maximum of thirty (30) calendar days. After this period, the customer will no longer be eligible for return or claim.
